Cardiac arrests happen frequently, with most of them occurring in the home, according to the American Heart Association. If bystanders don’t have adequate training for responding to this medical emergency, death could happen quickly. If a bystander acts quickly and provides CPR, the victim’s chance for survival doubles or even triples. Learning CPR can enable you to act quickly in the event of a cardiac arrest. The life you save may even be that of a loved one or family member.

CPR and AED training consist of two different life-saving methods. CPR involves chest compressions and rescue breathing to sustain a victim until help arrives. An AED is an automated external defibrillator: This device sends an electric shock to a victim to restore a heartbeat. If a victim’s heart stops beating, seconds are precious. Optimally, CPR or AED use should begin within three to five minutes of the person’s collapse. Emergency personnel won’t make it to the victim within this time, which is why trained bystanders are so important for saving lives.

To prepare yourself to respond in a cardiac emergency, you will need CPR and AED training. CPR Certified is ready to help you learn CPR. AED training online is also available, and our certifications are nationally accepted. We offer online courses with curricula developed by instructors licensed by the American Heart Association. These AHA-certified instructors come to you digitally on any device. View the videos at your own pace, starting, pausing, and skipping over material as you desire. You could progress through an entire course in less than two hours, or you could take as long as you like. We do not institute completion deadlines, giving you complete flexibility for the coursework.

Using an AED may seem complicated and even scary. As powerful as they are for saving lives, they are not difficult to operate. AED online training will teach you all of the skills for operating an AED with informative videos. After completing AED training online, you will be able to respond quickly and decisively in a medical emergency involving an adult or a child.

    Study at Your Convenience

Whether you need CPR, AED, first aid training, or BLS certification, with CPR Certified, it’s fast and simple. Students must register with basic information to create an account. After selecting the desired course and remitting payment, you can begin video lessons immediately. We understand that you don’t have time to waste: After completing the course, you can move right on to the exam. We do not institute an in-person skills test for exams. Simply take the multiple-choice test and submit it. We will deliver the results to you immediately to let you know whether you passed. If you didn’t pass the exam, you can retest without charge as many times as necessary.

We also offer CPR, AED, first aid training, and BLS courses for the professional needing recertification. In this case, you may not even need to spend excessive time watching the videos. You can skim them over as much or as little as necessary and then move on to the exam. You will always receive exam results immediately.

After you pass the test, CPR Certified sends you a printable certificate immediately. This enables you to furnish your certification results to an employer as quickly as possible. We will also send you a vinyl, double-sided wallet card within five to 10 days. If you need the wallet card more quickly, let us know: We also provide rush delivery options.

Learning and becoming certified in CPR has never been so easy and convenient. Fit your studies into your own time with our online courses. After you earn your certification, we will even remind you when it’s time to recertify. Trust CPR Certified for CPR and AED training.
