No. CPR Certified does not sell prepaid seats, credit blocks, or units that expire at the end of a year. You are billed for the employees who use the course, so there is nothing to forecast, nothing to stockpile, and nothing that goes to waste if your headcount changes.

They are not billed. If someone is added to your group and has not started the course, remove them within the calendar month and they never appear on your invoice. For high-turnover teams this is a significant saver — a new hire who leaves before starting costs you nothing.

Yes. CPR Certified can invoice your billing department with net terms, and you can pay by check, credit card, or ACH. We also split invoicing by department, cost center, or location when your accounting team needs it that way. Larger groups usually prefer invoicing; smaller groups often just pay by card.

Yes. Many organizations prefer their employees to pay individually. CPR Certified issues a unique discount code for your group, employees enroll themselves with it, and the group rate still applies. You get the discounted pricing without processing payment centrally. One tradeoff to know: employees who enroll and pay individually don't appear in your admin dashboard — if you need roster tracking and recert visibility, the managed program is the better fit.

No. CPR Certified courses have no expiration date. Employees can start whenever they are ready without worrying about access lapsing, which matters when you are onboarding people at different times.

Yes. Recertification works exactly like initial certification — same coursework, same wallet card, same group discount. Employees whose certifications have expired enroll through your group account and complete the course on their own schedule, and we email you before certifications expire so you can plan renewals. If you would like your employees reminded directly as well, we can switch that on for your account.

Immediately. Every employee receives a certificate of completion and a temporary wallet card by email the moment they pass the exam. The digital certificate is stored in their account and can be printed at any time for the life of the certification — two years for the CPR and first aid courses, and 12 months for Bloodborne Pathogens and Airborne Pathogens — and you can pull any certification from the admin dashboard on demand.

Yes. If you would rather keep certificates on file centrally, CPR Certified will mail all of your group's certificates or wallet cards together in a batch to your organization.

No. The CPR Certified admin dashboard is free. There are no setup fees, no monthly subscription, and no per-seat platform charges — you pay only for the employees who use the course.

CPR Certified courses are built on the latest American Heart Association, ECC, and ILCOR guidelines and are delivered by AHA-certified CPR instructors. The first aid and bloodborne pathogens certifications comply with OSHA's bloodborne pathogens standard (29 CFR 1910.1030). The curriculum was built by an AHA-certified core instructor and registered nurse.

You get a full refund. Employers and industries nationwide accept CPR Certified cards, but if one does not, we refund 100% of the cost within 30 days of purchase — send us documentation that the card was not accepted. For group accounts the guarantee works per employee, so a single non-acceptance does not put your whole program at risk.
